Sam Cacciatore, a native to Melbourne, joined the firm in 1998 following several years as an assistant state attorney in Brevard County. He prosecuted crimes and tried numerous jury trials, obtaining extensive courtroom experience.
In addition to his law degree, Mr. Cacciatore received a master’s degree in health sciences from the University of Florida. His education and experience in this field provide a unique and valuable perspective in understanding the vocational rehabilitation needs of injured people. It also provides a background and understanding of the adjustment that is required for one to cope with new injuries. This is extremely important in evaluating what it takes to help injured individuals recover after a serious accident.
In 2003, Mr. Cacciatore was elected by the membership of the Florida Justice Association to serve on its Board of Directors. In the past, he has also served on the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Bar Association and the Leadership Council for the Take Stock in Children Program of the Brevard County Schools Foundation. Mr. Cacciatore has also served on the Board of Directors of the Brevard Bar Foundation and is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association.
