We are an Ace Hardware store. A customer left a locked pickup truck with the engine running with dogs inside. Somehow the truck went into gear, crossed the parking lot and drove through the front of the store. We filed a claim with the customer's insurance. The initial offer was ridiculous. After several rounds of negotiation, contacting the state insurance commission and starting procedures for a law suit the claim was settled with full restitution.
